Blackie's tree. Doesn't look too spectacular here but it is going through the normal shock trees do when they are first planted. It will be beautiful next year. It was a scorching hot afternoon when Karen and I planted it and I wasn't thinking about much other than the heat but once those dark grey ashes went in the hole I gulped. Under that tree is gonna be one of my favourite places to sit. :-)
